A little bit about Elephant Shoe Media
MEET THE GIRL BEHIND THE CAMERA
Elephant Shoe Media?
A question I get asked all the time. You either know it or you don’t and you think I’m a big werido! It goes back to my elementary school days. You’d look around the class for your bestie and mouth out “elephant shoe” and confuse them thinking you’re saying “ I love you”, Then we giggle and watch over as we do it to the next friend.
Oh to be a kid again..
Who I am
Fast forward to my 20s, its an insider I use quite often when things feel tough or there some tension between a loved one. A little txt with elephant and shoe emoji always brought a smile to our faces and lightened the mood. Cause as the Beatles would say “love is all you need”.
I love love. Whether it be friendships, romance, passions. I love to love, and I love hearing about other peoples love. It brings people together. And I thought “hey, what a perfect fit for what im going for!” I love to shoot people celebrating love, I love shooting people doing the things they love and are most passionate about. And the saying has so much meaning to me.
Get to know me!
If I had to describe myself in one word, it would be cozy. Not just in the sense that I love a warm sweater and a good cup of coffee, but in the way I embrace life—finding comfort in adventure, creativity, and meaningful connections.
Travel is a huge part of who I am. Whether it’s wandering through new cities, hiking up mountains and volcanoes, or just getting lost in the beauty of a new place, I thrive on exploring the world. Every trip fuels my creativity, gives me new perspectives, and, of course, adds to my growing collection of travel photos.
Originally from Northern Ontario, the outdoors has always been my happy place. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll probably find me hiking, fishing, or camping—sometimes in my own backyard, sometimes halfway across the world. I also love climbing (mainly bouldering) and weightlifting at CrossFit, or getting lost in one of my many craft projects (seriously, my spare bedroom is basically a mini Michaels store).
And if you’re someone who feels awkward in front of the camera—trust me, I get it. I’m the same way! That’s why I focus on making the experience as easy and comfortable as possible, so you can just be yourself while I capture the magic.
